iPhone 7: Is it worth it?

By Abbey Lashley

Everyone knows about the iPhone 7 and if you don’t––have you been living under a rock? If you’re a big Apple junky then you may absolutely love it. Or hate it immensely. I mean, there’s no headphone jack! Although the iPhone 7 has its perks, everything comes with flaws.

First things first: it’s water resistant, not waterproof. They are two totally different things. Water resistant means it could still have the possibility of water damage. This feature might deteriorate as a result to normal wear. Don’t charge a wet iPhone, it’s very dangerous. Plus, liquid damage is not covered under any warranty.

Apple Pay. With your iPhone you can instantly pay in stores, in apps, and on the web. Apple Pay is also a more secure way to make payments because your card details are never shared. This may not be important to us, but adults could definitely utilize this feature.

The iPhone 7 has the most powerful chip in a smartphone. It runs two times faster than the iPhone 6. Plus it has the longest battery life of all iPhones. The processor speed has increased, as well as the graphics speed. The iPhone 7 has so much room you could put your whole life on it, there’s up to 256GB of storage to hold your most precious memories.

Turn up the music with this phone, it has a speaker on the bottom and top of the device. Just don’t count on those cool, new headphones you got for Christmas. The only pair of earphones you can use are wireless ones, unless you have the adaptor, which you’ll probably lose in about point-two seconds. Good luck with those Airpods too, they’ll probably find their way into the deep, dark place where monsters lurk (under your bed).

All in all, it really depends on the user, and what they like. If you’re super organized then it would be easier to keep track of those wireless earphones, but even the best of us can make mistakes.
