I bet you didn’t know Greenfield Jr. High had a talent show. The school’s Drama Club is organizing it. In the Drama Club, there are around 50 students, and Mr. Conway and Mrs. Heermans are the teachers that help out with this club.
The auditions for the Talent Show are on the 7th of March after school, at 4:30. You are allowed to perform anything you want because, according to president, Kat Stevens, “Drama Club is a fun and safe environment where you can be yourself and not be judged for who you are.” Once you make it past the auditions, you get to go to the Talent Show, but you have to attend the Rehearsals and Dress Rehearsals. The first rehearsal is on Thursday, March 23rd from 3 pm to 5pm after school. At this rehearsal you will be planning how each act will be played out. At the second you will practice your acts on Friday, March 24th, the day after the first rehearsal. Those will be the only two regular rehearsals, then there is one more practice before the final show. The final show is on Friday, March 31st. Before that, there is one last dress rehearsal on Tuesday, March 28th.
Mrs. Heermans and Mr. Conway encourage you to try out for the Talent Show. We can’t wait to see you there!
