Short Story: Kidnapped at the Mall!

My friend Alexis, her sister Sydney, and I went to the Scottsdale Mall to go school clothes shopping, school started in a week. Alexis and Sydney’s mom dropped us off, and the first store we went to was Nordstrom’s. We looked around, and noticed that a strange guy looking at us. We didn’t think anything of it, so we went into Sephora, then I got a couple things from the store, when we were paying for our items, and noticed that the strange man was outside the store, and staring at us again! At that time we became worried. Then we went to the food court to get some lunch, and he was staring at us from across the food court AGAIN! We called our parents and they said that they would be here in 45 minutes. They also said, “ While you are waiting for us to come pick you up, if you see the guy again, call the cops from one of your phones.” We were finishing our food, then Alexis went to go throw away her found. She found a note that said, “ Don’t call the cops…or else!” We assumed it was from the creepy man that was stalking us. We were frightened by the threat, so we kept quiet. I had to go to the bathroom, so we left the food court and went to the bathroom. On our way out, we saw him again. But this time, he started walking towards us, so we ran the opposite direction. When we got to the exit of the mall and opened the doors, he was right in front of us! He grabbed Sydney, Alexis and I starting running, trying to find someone to help us. But no one was in the mall. We were so confused! So many questions and thoughts were going through my head. Where did everyone go? We only went outside for a little bit and when we came inside everyone was gone. Before we went outside, there were people everywhere in the mall, but they disappeared? I couldn’t understand what was happening. Then right before my eyes, the creepy man now, was running towards us. But this time he was faster than before! He finally caught up to us, and he grabbed Alexis. “What should I do?” I thought. I was all alone now, I didn’t know what to do. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him! There was nowhere to run, so I hid in the back of Macy’s. I saw the strange man in Macy’s; he was looking for me. Then I accidentally knocked over a yo-yo, and he found me! I surely thought it was over when he grabbed me. I tried to run away, but I couldn’t. Then, he tied me in ropes, and threw me in a white van with Sydney and Alexis in it. I woke up, and I realized that it was all just a dream. I was so relieved that none of it actually happened.
