Illusions will show us what’s really wrong with the world.

Illusions will show us the tricks others play.

Illusions are things you cannot unsee, they stay by your side.

Illusions are things you cannot forgive.

Illusions make you think they are there, yet, they aren’t.

Our reality is filled with them.

Tricks, lies, mirages, deceiving, conniving

Illusions will show you the truth

At most of all,

The betrayal.

Life is unfair.

We’ll just have to deal.

But why? Why can’t we be civil?

Illusions and tricks start wars.

Truth and honesty creates peace.

Why, oh, why can’t we have peace?

Illusions, that’s what they’ll do.
