When working in this field, you could be an accountant, a financial planner, a retail buyer, sales, a travel agent, a bank teller, a city manager, an economist, or even a software engineer. In order to be these, you should take classes in high school such as 21st century applications, technology, business practices, game design, marketing, and personal finance, but seventh-graders, if you want a head start, here at Greenfield you can take a business class taught by Mr. Lwanga.

For Gilbert Public Schools, in order to graduate from high school you need to have 4 credits in English, 4 credits in Math, 3 credits in Science, 3 credits for Social Studies, 1 credit for Physical Education, 2 credits (in any combination) for CTE or Fine Arts, and 5 credits for Electives, so you need 22 credits all together, but Arizona University Entrance Requirements are a bit more complicated. You must have 4 credits of English, but they must be certain classes, Math has 4 specific credits as well, 3 lab science credits that must include at least three of the four areas like Chemistry, Physics, Earth, and biological sciences, 2 credits of Social Studies, you don’t need Physical Education to meet the, requirements but you must have one in order to graduate high school. Basically, you don’t have a choice on that one, also you need 2 credits in modern language. You need to complete two years of the same language so in total, you need 16 credits to go to an Arizona University College.

If you are still confused on what classes that you should take or just what a schedule should look like, then you’re in luck! I have a sample of a four-year General Studies Schedule should look like. Freshman Year: English, Science (normally Biology), Math, Physical Education, Elective (Fine Arts or CTE), Modern Language. Sophomore Year: English, Science, Math, Social Studies, Modern Language, Elective, Elective (Fine Arts or CTE). Junior Year: English, Science, Math, Social Studies, Elective (Fine Arts or CTE), Other Elective. Senior Year: English, Math, Social Studies, and then three electives of your choice.
