TRICK OR TREAT! – Halloween Sweets

Candy Corn Bark


  • 16 halloween oreos, chopped
  • 1 ½ cups small, broken pretzels
  • ⅓ cup raisins
  • 1 ½ pounds white chocolate, broken into squares
  • 2 cups of candy corn
  • Orange and/or brown sprinkles


  1. Spread cookies, pretzels, and raisins evenly onto lightly greased small baking sheet
  2. Melt chocolate in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water, or in the microwave, stirring frequently until melted
  3. Remove chocolate from heat while there are still a few chunks of chocolate, and stir until smooth (Tip: white chocolate burns easily)
  4. Drizzle chocolate with a spoon over the ingredients in the pan, spreading the top flat to coat evenly
  5. Top with candy corn and sprinkles
  6. Let cool until firm
  7. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container
  8. Enjoy!


Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Brownies


  • 1 (16 ounce) package of truffle brownie mix
  • ½ cup of butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup pumpkin spice flavored morsels
  • 2 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles


  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉
  2. Grease an 8-inch baking pan with 2-inch sides
  3. Stir brownie mix, butter, and eggs together until blended
  4. Stir in pumpkin spice morsels gently
  5. Spread butter in the prepared pan
  6. Bake in preheated oven until top is dry and edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, 25 to 30 minutes
  7. Scatter sprinkles on top
  8. Let cool before slicing and removing from pan, 30 minutes
  9. Eat!


Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies


  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ chopped walnuts (optional)


  1. Combine pumpkin, sugar, vegetable oil, and an egg
  2. In a separate bowl stir together flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt
  3. Add vanilla, chocolate chips, and optional nuts into second bowl
  4. Drop dough by spoonful on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350℉ for ten minutes or until lightly brown and firm
  5. Cool for 5 minutes
  6. Consume!
