Christmas Day,
Oh what a special holiday.
The snow, cold and soft,
Trickles down the little window of the loft.
With smooth hot chocolate,
And a gift inside your pocket.
Friends and family huddle in,
To celebrate the great tradition.
With the steamy gravy, roast beef and stuffing,
They all open gifts to find something.
When the night comes near, you all say goodbye,
And you breathe a relieving sigh,
And it all repeats next year, but now its time to rest.
For Christmas Eve will soon be in the past.
