Staff Spotlight: Mr. T

Samuel Tautolo was born on January 9, 1991. He was born and raised in Moreno Valley, California. Samuel is one of three siblings in his family. He comes from a family of pacific islanders in Hawaii.

Growing up, Samuel was a very busy athlete. He played football, wrestled, and participated in track and field. “I sprained many ankles growing up as an athlete,” states Tautolo. He attended Valley View High School, and continued his athlete years there. After he graduated from high school in 2009, he attended college and played for their football team. During those years, Samuel coached the track team.

Tautolo began attending Iowa State University in 2010, and then Grand Canyon University in 2014. He later received his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies and History. In his free time, Sam likes to draw, hike with friends, and go to the gym. He taught for three years at Mesquite High School, and this is first year at Greenfield Junior High. Other information about Mr. Tautolo includes the fact that he had his appendix removed a few years ago, his favorite color is green, he enjoys the taste of Mexican Food, and his favorite drink is Mountain Dew. Mr. Tautolo loves Doritos Nacho Cheese, and his favorite candy is Reese’s. “I am not currently married, but I’d like to have a family and get married,” declared Samuel.

Samuel Tautolo is a very intelligent and kind person. He absolutely loves his job and plans on continuing to teach students. Many staff members and students like to have him as teacher and look forward to seeing him next year.
