POEM: Just Wait

The day the bell rings and the halls swarm,

Finals are finally over and done,

The day that school has come to an end.

Some will be glad and enthusiastic,

Some will wonder: “What will I do over summer?”

Most will swim, some will lounge,

Others will tan, more will watch Netflix.

Some will celebrate with a Polar Pop,

Others will wait for the start of something new.

Just wait until school is out and done.
