REVIEW: Avengers Endgame (Spoiler Free)

Avengers: Endgame, the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, is many things and disappointing is not one of them. The epic three-hour long sequel lives up to the hype surrounding it.

The plot follows the Avengers, the team of superheroes we first saw fighting together in 2012, teaming up again to bring back the many characters that sadly perished at the end of Infinity War. And so begins a funny, touching, and visually stunning adventure that beautifully wraps up Marvel’s current phase of superhero films.

The film is among Marvel’s highest-rated films, currently holding a 95% on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. The Marvel epic is also breaking records, becoming the only film in history to earn over a billion dollars in the opening weekend.

Endgame is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a series of interconnected movies. Everything in the MCU has led up to this movie, so if you haven’t seen any other Marvel films, don’t bother trying to understand the film. It cannot be viewed effectively without knowledge of Marvel’s previous blockbusters.

Avengers: Endgame is a fantastic way to end the eight-year journey of the Avengers. The film has humor, heart, amazing special effects, superb performances, and an extraordinary ending that perfectly tops off the Avengers sundae we’ve been enjoying since 2012.

You’ll walk out of the theater in awe after you watch this Marvel masterpiece. If you’re going to watch it, you’d better get tickets soon. This film is selling out everywhere, due to it’s fantastic beginning, magnificent middle, and mind-blowing end.
