Editorial: Chick-Fil-A vs. Canes

Chances are that you’ve probably been to Canes and/or Chick-Fil-A, both restaurants carry some really good chicken. Canes is best known for their southern fried chicken, texas toast, special sauce, and crinkle fries. Chick-Fil-A on the other hand, is best known for their chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. The question still remains: which fast food chain has the better food?

If you’re in the mood for some delicious fried chicken that you know will please you, then your probably thinking of Canes. Most people go to Canes because they know what they want, and what they’re gonna receive; chicken.  Canes carries many delicious dishes involving chicken. Their menu consists of hand-breaded and deep fried chicken tenders, and one chicken sandwich. I personally like Canes better because the chicken is so juicy, meaty, crispy, generously sized, and tastes real. They also carry their own sauce; Canes Sauce. The sauce is tangy, spicy, and really brings some extra flavor to the table. And last but not least, the texas toast. I could go on about how delicious the toast is, but I think you should try it for yourself, you wont regret it.

Unlike Canes, Chick-Fil-A has a good variety of different foods, depending on your different moods. Their menu consists of six sandwiches, a grilled cool wrap, chicken nuggets, and chicken tenders. They also give you a choice between spicy or regular chicken. Chick-Fil-A tenders are delicious, pretty meaty, spicy, crispy, and savory. Even though Chick-Fil-A has more food, I still think Canes is tastier.

In conclusion, I just love Canes so much more. The food tastes better, the service is quick, and the people serving you are really nice. I still love Chick-Fil-A, but Canes just can’t be beat. Canes sure knows what they’re cooking.
