Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone Movie

Millions of people can agree that the first Harry Potter book was a huge success, but so was the movie. The creators did a great job of making the magic look realistic. The “Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone” movie has a lot of action and just about that many funny scenes by the young stars, Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, and Emma Watson. These three really contributed to bringing the movie to life for the viewers. In fact, some of the scenes were improvised when the child actors forgot their lines, but those scenes turned out to be some of the funniest parts that left me rolling on the ground laughing. I was never bored when watching this film as I watched the trio go on all sorts of magical adventures. The movie skips past the first couple of boring chapters. Though some fans may have wanted everything that was in the book, I quite enjoyed how it started. With no context, it leaves viewers wondering what happened and what will happen next. Again, we see this effect with the troll scene. How did the troll get in? What will they do to stop it? When Harry and his friends went looking for the ‘Philosopher’s Stone’, I was amazed with everything that was going on. Once I got my first glimpse of the real antagonist, I had many questions even though I had read the book!

All in all, I really enjoyed watching the first Harry Potter movie. This movie kept the same exciting energy and was almost as good as the book. I would recommend it to all Harry Potter lovers.
