Tea

The word tea is a popular slang word on the internet and social media. When most people hear the word tea they think of the popular drink that can sometimes be hot. Now, when teens think of the word tea they about the slang word like, ̈spill the tea sis. ̈ According to Urban Dictionary this slang word comes from the custom in the south from  women gathering and gossiping. Hellogiygles.com states if you say ¨I have some tea” someone will most likely say ̈spill ̈ or ̈spill the tea sis ̈. Also the daily dot it states that this slang word became a popular thing in 2003. More people started using this word in the year 2010. Dictionary.com states the “The best served piping hot, tea is slang for gossip, a juicy scoop, or other personal information.”  That’s the tea or the scoop on the slang word tea.
