Mrs. Turley

Jill Turley is a seventh grade social studies teacher in room 230. She has been teaching here for 24 years and hopes to stay for many more. Since November 11, 1995, Mrs. Turley has been making our school an amazing place.

On November 28, 1971, Jill was born in California. From a young age, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian or a baker. Instead, she went to California State University in Chico. After graduation, Turley began subbing around Tempe and Mesa. Eventually, her friend recommended her to Greenfield and she got the job. Jill Turley states, “When I was just starting out the staff helped me a lot so they were probably my role models.” In fact the friendly staff is still one of her favorite things at this school.

After a long day at work, Turley likes to go home and spend time with her family. Which consists of her husband, two sons, and two dogs. She also enjoys watching T.V., baking, and playing with her dogs.

Mrs. Turley has a lot of favorite things too. For instance, her favorite book series is Harry Potter, by J.K. Rowling. Jill also favors the color blue. And don’t be deceived by her M&M filled classroom because her favorite candy is actually Twix! Turley also wants to travel to Europe and visit Italy and its neighboring countries.

There is a lot to know about Mrs. Turley, but one of the most important things is that she is an amazing teacher who wants the best for her students in the future. After 24 years- going 25 now- Mrs. Turley is still working hard in her M&M decorated classroom and won’t stop until retirement.
