Cobra Kai is an American martial arts TV series based on the Karate Kid film series from 1984. Cobra Kai is rated TV-14. The director of Cobra Kai is John G. Avildsen. Ralph Macchio is an American actor well known for his role as Daniel Larusso in the three Karate Kid films. William Zabka is a American actor that is also very well known for his role as Johnny Lawrece in the three Karate Kid films also.

Season one follows Johnny Lawrence, a man in his mid-50’s who can’t let go of his 1984 All-Valley Karate Championship loss to lifetime rival Daniel LaRusso. After losing his job, Johnny’s car is involved in a hit and run which brings his rival back into his life. Decades after their 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament bout, middle-aged Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence find themselves martial-arts rivals again. However, when Johnny rescues a bullied kid, Miguel, from bullies, he is inspired to restart the notorious Cobra Kai dojo (www.wikipedia.org).

Cobra Kai season 2 follows the power struggle between the new owner Johnny Lawrence and his former sensei, John Kreese, who returns uninvited. The intentions of Kreese are not well and he uses his powers of manipulation and ruthless teachings in order to control everyone. Shortly after Daniel’s victory in the tournament, Kreese attacks Johnny for losing the tournament, but is approached by Miyagi, who humiliates Kreese by making him punch car windows, leaving the latter with bloody fists. Miyagi subdues Kreese and the Cobra Kai students eventually abandon him (www.hollywoodreporter.com).

Season 3 of Cobra Kai has not come out yet, but, according to looper.com, Miguel is still alive, but he’s facing a difficult journey back to the mats. Fans will just have to wait for the return of Cobra Kai to discover how it all plays out. Cobra Kai season 3 is set to arrive on Netflix on January 8, 2021. In my opinion Cobra Kai is a great show and I could watch it over and over again.
