Kansas City Chiefs


The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas city, Missouri. Their coach, Andy Reid is 62 years old and was born on March 19, 1958. Andy has three sons. Their names are Garret Reid, Spencer Reid and Britt Reid. Andys wife is Tammy Reid. The Chiefs are the number one team in the AFC West, have 11 wins and 1 loss so far. The team was founded in 1960 as the Dallas Texans by businessman Lamar Hunt and was a charter member of the American Football League. In 1963, the team relocated to Kansas City and assumed its current name. The Chiefs joined the NFL as a result of the merger in 1970. The team is valued at over 2 billion dollars. 

Patrick Mahomes is the Chiefs quarterback. He got drafted for the Chiefs in the first round tenth pick in 2017. The Chiefs backup quarterback is Chad Henne number four on the team. Patrick’s father is a former Major League Baseball pitcher Pat Mahomes. He is number 15 and was born on September 17, 1995 in Tyler, Texas. His fiancé Brittany Matthews and states that they have been together since the tenth grade of high school and soon to be a father. According to Patrick makes 400 million dollars a year including a ten million dollar signing bonus. 

The Chiefs have won a total of two Super Bowls, one in 1970 versus the Minnesota Vikings the score being 23-7 and the other one in 2020 versus the San Francisco 49ers with the score being 31-20 ( The team was founded in 1960 as the Dallas Texans and they joined the NFL in 1970. In my opinion the Chiefs are an amazing team especially with Patrick Mahomes as their quarterback.
